What we do with information gathered from visitors

As is typical with the way websites work, Athena’s websites create log files that save details about visitors to our site. These details include visitors’ IP addresses, browser types, any pages that referred us to them, and the time and dates of their visits.

As visitors use our site, so-called “cookies” may be created in order to track the preferences and interests of specific visitors to help make subsequent visits smoother, faster and more convenient. Visitors’ browsers may provide the ability to block the creation of cookies, however, that may interfere with the functionality of our site.

When registration is required, the visitor’s email and a username will be stored on our server. At no time will we ever give, rent or sell information or email addresses to third-party vendors or businesses.

Occasionally, we may email you regarding important news or special offers, however, any email message will include opportunities for you to quickly unsubscribe  from any future messages from us, with the exception of account-specific messages to Athena customers.
